Pangram Hunt

Train the highest-value Spelling Bee habit: spotting accepted pangrams that use every letter in the hive.

Pangram Hunt

Daily Challenge100 per round

Find the word that uses every letter.

Each set gives you a historical hive and tells you how many accepted pangrams it contains. Find one pangram per round; any remaining valid pangram counts.

Choose a mode to start.

Spelling Bee Pangram Practice

Pangrams often set the puzzle's scoring rhythm.

A pangram uses all seven letters, so it forces you to see the whole hive instead of chasing isolated short words. In Spelling Bee scoring, that habit matters because pangrams carry bonus value and often point toward longer companion words, repeated letters, useful stems, and productive endings.

Spot All Letters

Every round starts with a real historical hive and asks for an accepted pangram that uses all seven letters at least once.

Use Clues Wisely

Clues unlock in a fixed path: length, first two letters, definition, then one extra letter position. Fewer clues means a stronger score.

Build Strategy

Pangram practice trains the point-first habit that often reveals the puzzle rhythm before short-word cleanup begins.

How to play

Choose Daily Challenge or Practice, then find the accepted pangram for the seven-letter hive. You can guess before using any clue. Each clue lowers the available score more than an incorrect guess, so open hints only when they move your search forward.

Hunt tips

  • Start by checking whether all seven letters can form a familiar stem, compound, or -ING shape.
  • Use the center letter as an anchor, then rotate vowels and repeated letters around the full-letter frame.
  • Open the length clue when the shape feels close; it tells you whether repeated letters are likely needed.
  • After a reveal, review the Daily context and word page so the pangram shape is easier to recognize next time.
